A practical guide to accessible content

As content designers we know that making content accessible is important - but there’s always something to learn. Join us on Wednesday 17 April for practical advice on how to help improve the accessibility of your content.

In this session, accessible content specialist (and Crocstar trainer!) Lisa Riemers will dive into:

  • writing better, descriptive alt text that suits your context

  • making sure your images and graphics are more accessible

We’ll discuss using tools such as:

  • Microsoft’s built-in accessibility checkers in PowerPoint and Word

  • the WebAIM colour contrast-checker
