Writing for social media workshops

While you can find training that will tell you how to post an update – what we offer is training on how to write well for social media and your own company website.

With years of experience producing web content for household names like AOL, Yahoo!, the BBC, ITV, Toshiba, Magic FM and Paul Smith, as well writing copy for smaller business websites, we use all our editorial expertise to show you how to write for social media.

Our workshops will share the secrets to getting your tweets retweeted, your status updates Liked and your blog posts shared. We’ll talk about the words to use, when to use them and common mistakes to avoid.

Six sessions to choose from

  • Sweet Retweets (or How To Write For Social Media)
  • Tweets that travel: How your brand should write for Twitter
  • Be Liked: How your brand should write for Facebook
  • Formatting your blog: How and why to do it
  • How to write a killer headline
  • Developing your online profile and tone.

Who should book the workshops?

  • Start-ups who need to create a sparkling social media profile from the off
  • Brands who want to use social media but don’t know what to say
  • Organisations who want to bring clarity to their social media campaigns
  • Small businesses who want social media to help them stand out from the crowd.

How do I book?

We offer two types of course: a one-hour session and a half-day workshop.

The hour long session is great if you want to pick up practical tips or need a social media refresher.
The half-day workshop is tailored to your company and includes practical examples so you’ll have a chance to get stuck in and build your confidence.

We train groups of 6 – 30 people at a time.
