<p>When you&#8217;re trying to fit words into a limited character count, every small word comes into play.</p>
<p>What can we use instead of &#8216;got&#8217;? Have. Possess. Own. They&#8217;re not very funky though &#8211; you might want to say that &#8216;someone&#8217;s got soul&#8217; which is much cooler than &#8216;someone owns soul&#8217;. Which doesn&#8217;t even make sense.</p>
<p>I can&#8217;t even remember why &#8216;got&#8217; fell out of fashion. I might start using it again to prove my point. Cos you either got it, or you don&#8217;t got it. Get it?</p>
