			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Now this is a tricky one &#8211; to funny, or not to funny?</p>
<p>Of course we all think we&#8217;re hilarious and users will be tripping over their tittering teeth as they gaily breeze through our sites.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s a fine line: too sarcastic and we run the risk of sounding like a miserable sod. Too many (or rather, any) excalamation marks and we look like an excitable teenager. </p>
<p>There&#8217;s no harm in the odd wry mark, after all this isn&#8217;t a job interview. But don&#8217;t overload your user with in-jokes, exclamation marks and long-winded shaggy dog stories. Unless it&#8217;s a pun The Sun would be proud of, I&#8217;d leave it to the professionals.  </p>
