Practice what you prattle on about

It’s all very well knowing the theory but sometimes you have to get your butt off the sofa and practice what you preach.

It’s no good saying you’re a writer if you don’t write. An artist who doesn’t create. A chef with an aversion to cooking. You are what you do.
